dont u think this is out of order?

my bf has just made me so angry. we are both muslims, and i dont believe in sex before marriage. he believes in sex before marriage and has told me he wants to sleep with me. but when asked has also told me that he would only marry a girl who is a virgin. so basically he wld sleep with any girl, but when it comes to marriage he wld only choose a girl whos a virgin.

He's lying! He wants to have some sex while making it very clear to you that he doesn't want to marry you. And he's throwing in a couple of "I love you"s, for good measure, because he's probably been told that girls like being told that. He doesn't sound like a very nice person, tbh.

can i ask why though? i don't think it's good to go round sleeping with everybody and having one night stands, but I've been in a relationship with my girlfriend for 2 and a half years and sex makes our re'ship more 'complete' - it makes a good thing great. marriage shows commitment etc, but if you're an atheist, isn't it just a piece of paper saying you're committed, rather than a union before god? i know i'm committed to my girlfriend, and vice versa, and sex is a great way of demonstrating how we feel about each other. could i ask what your reasons are for your opinion, out of interest, please?
