A2 prediction: A,A,A Bio, Chem and Maths
UKCAT: 615 Band 3 SJT
Work exp: 2 weeks in GDP, 1 week in specialist division dental healthcare centre, work alongside a clinical denture technician.
Extra curricular:volunteer at a local charity shop, violin, member of school's string group, drawing and painting, running - charity marathons, lead a group to raise awareness about food poverty and collected food donations for the local area.
Applying to: Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and King's College London. :biggrin:
GCSE: 5A*, 3A, 2B, 3 Dist (Additional Maths, ICT, Additional ICT)
AS: BAA and Pass (WBQ which is equivalent to an A)
Predicted: A*AA and Pass
W/E: 1 Wk GDP, 1 day in Bristol Dental Hospital, 2 health workshops,
Research done into dental health with a WBQ essay
UKCAT: 550 avg. :frown:
Extra curricular: 18+ months Oxfam, school council for three years, school prefect, tutoring second language Welsh students and maths tutor, numerous fundraisers, sewing, fashion shows etc.
Applying to: Bristol, Cardiff, Plymouth and Leeds.

GDP from February to September 2013 (every Tuesday) plus the occasional week block in different practices.

Other Details: 2 weeks work experience in dental clinic.

Observed Dental Implants.
DofE Gold - Exped with group of disabled members, Volunteered on Autistic play scheme, Play cricket at club level, decorate cakes for manual dexterity.

Hey guys!
Am applying Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds!

Work experience- 2 weeks in maxillofacial surgery in North london, 1 week in GDP, volunteering in residential home 2 months at weekend. DoE gold.

GCSEs- 8A*, 2 A
AS- 4 A's - Bio, Chem, Maths, English

I've only just found this thread, am new to all this! Am confident that I'll be OK on the academic side, but really worried about these interviews!

Hey yeh think they do, but only for people who havent achieved there A2 levels yet. Rang them up and they are fine cos i got my a levels.
