Never seen anything myself, but I can honestly say that while walking down some streets (always the same ones), I've usually felt that there was somebody behind me...would really creep me out when it happened at night time, but it even happened during the day sometimes :afraid:

Not that I believe in ghosts or the supernatural but, as with the afterlife, I'm keeping an open mind

If i was a bloody ghost I would take myself off somewhere so as not to spook someone out, I mean how embarassing. I am 6'5' and theres nothing more embarassing for me than making old ladies jump when I'm just trying to get home. Or when you walk behind someone and to avoid them thinking you are following them you try to overtake them, but they are walking too fast... *awkwardness*
I saw a ghost while I was visiting, in McIntosh Hall. She was a tall woman with curly brown hair in a white dress. Very small hands.

I don't "believe" in ghosts, but I guess I'll just have to declare myself baffled by this one.
ah! roll on haloween

I don't believe in ghosts as such... ie I don't believe that spirits still haunt areas. What I do believe in, however, is 'echoes of the past'. ie. flashbacks of previous time. So I don't believe that the ghosts are concious, seeing as what they're doing has already happened. If that made any sense.

Had to read that a couple of times, but I understand what you're talking about...

I never really liked Ghostbusters...and watching it now, it just seems farcical

I've got a PS2 game called Ghost Hunter, though, which sometimes brings back memories of the Ghostbusters films  Shooting the ghost then throwing this little disc-like thing at them to capture the ghost...you just KNOW they copied that straight from the films...

I never really watched the ghost busters films at all, or at least can't remember doing.

Maybe Derek Acorah could come down to St. Andrews and "find" a "ghost prescence" (god he's such a fake)

I guess not your ideal drinking buddies though. :p:

I used to love ghostbusters as a kid, just one of those things.

They could be worse...at least they don't get involved in drunken brawls after the pubs have closed

On that note, some of the drunken ramblings you can hear as the students return to their homes can be hilarious. I was once walking back to Fife Park with a group of people, and two of the guys in the group looked across the street and saw two girls who (for some reason) they thought were lesbians. They started 'singing' at the top of their voices "Don'tcha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?"

Yes hrm well Derek Acorah and his Most Haunted really scares the crap out of me every time I look at it. Not because I think it's all real (I seriously hope  ) but that I get so involved and then they start to scream and.. well hrm:redface: ...

So there are ghosts in St.A. That's certainly interesting.:p:

Oo drunken rambles, can't wait to see them again. Feel like a right recluse because of the exams.

Of course, saved a lot of money that's going towards my holiday. What do you think guys, either indefinate stay in Newquay in a tent, or 2 weeks abroad somewhere like Menorca?

Which is usually the case with me  I love it - they never remember anything and I can hint at all the stupid stuff they did the night before
