Parking at Kendrick Halls

Hi,
I am a student just moved into Kendrick Halls in reading, and I have had a friend stay with me overnight, which was fine she left her car at one of the nearby permit areas but because it was between the given hours it was fine as she left for work early the next morning. However I have someone coming to stay with me for the weekend soon, which means I need to find her somewhere to park overnight where the car can also be left during the day. I know Kendrick is bad for parking, but does anyone who's lived here or stayed with a friend here, know of any good spots to park nearby?
Any information would be very much appreciated.
