Should I do a foundation degree in medical sciences, or HNC in applied biology

I aim to use one of these to get into radiography and imaging, however my uni will not give me a straight answer as to what one I should go for. They just say, "I imagine either would be fine."

What is better, foundation degree OR an HNC......i can possible do an HND but may struggle finanically as its full time and I am an old man.....26
