Well, that's it. I'm done (i think it's safe to say that an hour before the exam what will be, will be) - i'm going to have some lunch now, relax and then make my way up to school.

Doing a plan is not a waste of time, as if you run out of time or you don't know how to get from the last point you wrote to the next one, they will read your plan and see that you did know what you were talking about, and that you did intend on writting more, they will mark a plan for knowledge, so its worth it to get a few extra marks :smile:

the microbes module 7 was OK
the synoptic questions were HARD
the synoptic essay was OK the carbon one :biggrin:

I did nitrogen. Oh man. All I wrote about was freaking digestion of proteins. I KNEW stuff about the other one! I could have drawn diagrams! I am so retarded.

Oh. I did unit 8. We had different papers.

You mean you talked about proteins for the carbon one? Well theoretically there is carbon in amino acids

I did mod 8 - behaviour and populations. Really good paper, couldn't have been any better really. Well maybe if they told us the answers :biggrin:

No, there wasn't an essay question about carbon in the paper I did. I'm doing AQA spec A not human. I can't complain more about why what I did was so very wrong, and why the OTHER essay was so very much EASIER, because I don't think it's been long enough, has it?

Actually the title of the thread is just AQA synoptic so i guess its A and B, i did A and i did the nitrogen one as you guys said it might come up so i revised it back to front in the hour before the exam, i got in and the first thing i did was draw out the nitrogen cycle on the sheet of my details lol :P

But i was so pleased it was there i mean i did the whole cycle in detail then just where nitrogen is used like DNA RNA, amino acids and stuff drew lots of pretty drawings to to take up space :P

All in all i thought it was ok, the ones on cholesterol were a bit weird though

I assume the essay questions for Biology and human biology AQA spec A are different. Because human biology had polymers and surface area essay questions.
