I've been placed at Camp Wekeela in Maine and looks awesome! But I'm really interested in travelling after camp ends.. Is it likely that I'll meet people at camp who will also want to travel?

Hey all.. I applied last week and literally am right at the beginning. Had my telephone interview but im waiting for the face to face. Put down my deposit and all so... I went and stupidly submitted the wrong video on my online profile!! :/.. it is nothing about me what so ever!! Hope they don't look at it and are like whaaaaaaat?! Im stressing so much. Hope you all get placed soon!! :smile:

Hi, I have been placeable now for 2 weeks, just waiting to be placed or on review. I am literally checking my page every hour too see if I am on review. Waiting is so hard, but hopefully shouldn't have to wait to long :smile:

Just had my telephone interview with camp leaders! So excited already have horse riding, trainable life guard and arts and crafts as my activities! Anybody know any programmes to make a video?

Hey I'm just about to be placeable all I need to do is make a video and pay £200.

does anyone know what happens if your not placed do you get the £200 back

I've just had my phone interview today and got a late application form and a conditional offer and I got told I needed to make a decision by Monday if I want to go this year, so im filling all my applications out this weekend :smile:

Hi!

I returned from camp 2 days ago. When they say it's the best summer of your life, they aren't exaggerating. I'm already making plans so I can return next summer.

It's impossible to describe everything about camp but if you have any questions about the application process or camp in general, feel free to PM me!

Hi Jess! I have just had a phone call to say that they want me to come after I applied online and are asking for a £49 application fee. With anything the saying is 'if they wanted you why do you have to pay them' and I can't help but think this! I started doing seasons in April and have been to Portsmouth, Isle of Wight, France, Paris and Tenerife since then and I've got to admit when I first started I thought this was all too good to be true and fake! And obvcourse it wasn't but I still can't help but think this especially for America! So price wise she told me if I didn't get the job it would be refunded but is there any hidden charges you had to pay and if you don't mind me asking, a little personal but with everything you had to pay for flights and applications and also spending money how much would you say you spent/took altogether so I know how much to save? I would love to go so I hope everything's as it seems! Charlie xo
