Whats the social life like at Edinburgh?

Is it good as in loads and loads of parties, or do you really have to make an effort??

its meanty b better in Edinburgh
am thinkin of goin for a weeekend in augst after i gt my results to see

That is true.

However, Edinburgh's nightlife is great - although, that's obviously just my personal opinion.

There are many clubs, bars and so on that have nights on throughout the week, ranging from theme nights, to student nights, to your normal night out. It's all very good, I'd say.

Also, once you've made friends you'll be more than likely to hang out at their flats, or them yours, for parties. And in the union, if you find it good enough.

There's certainly plenty of bars/clubs and there's something for everyone there.

That said, Glasgow is still relatively close and a good night out too.
