I have to eat after I work out, have to give those muscles some fuel! I have a healthy high protein meal though, packet of crisps ... not good !! I've done it though. haha. Before I've even left the gym I have gone over to the vending machine and purchased a chocolate bar
I ate a whole 13 inch takeaway ham and pineapple pizza last night at 7.45 pm ish, and was out jogging 2.5 hours later, for an hour or so of jogging. It kills me being the way i am...in my first year of uni, i must have averaged 4 takeways per week at times, yet i was doing an immense amount of jogging, was probably fit enough to have run a 26 mile marathon at the time, irrespective of the crap food/drink intake of mine....it sucks to be ill disciplined but i'm lacking significant motivations in life ATM to be strict with myself, if i had such motivations to keep fit, i.e. a girlfriend for example, i'd be working flat out to keep in shape

I've not been running all this week due to exams, but I'm going to have to go tomorrow or else I'll turn into more of a whale than I already am!

i was paying for the pizza i had eaten when i was jogging last night...i was burping ham and pineapple throughout...very gassy i must say :frown:
Maybe i will have to employ a dietician to keep me on track when i'm older...or marry a woman who's a good influence on my eating and drinking habits, a top female chef would be nice.
I can't believe you punish yourselves for eating. Today, my lunch consisted of a chocolate bar and a packet of crisps, my dinner was (home made) pizza and some asparagus cooked in olive oil and salt. Last night, I was hungry at 'bout 11 so went and bought myself some chips from round the corner. Admittedly I went rock climbing this evening, but only for an hour and a half, which isn't very long considering it costs me a fiver. Anyway, my point is the odd packet of crisps won't kill you, and as long as your exercising you can eat pretty much whatever you want without becoming fat.

You should eat after exercising! Obviously crisps are not the healthist option but if you are hungry and that is what you fancy- you for it!

Here are some links advising the right foods to eat after a workout:

You gotta keep eating or you won't build up any muscle - unless you just want to get rid of every last fat cell in your body. As for the crisps, they're ok sometimes but if you can eat something healthy then you won't even feel hungry afterwards.
