your boyfriends bestfriend

so i used to be going out with this guy, and after 2 years i broke up with hiｍ. now, 5 months after the break up with him, im going out with his bestfriend.

i think that if i was the one who got dumped n my bestfriend was going out with my exm it wud DEFnately b awkward between me n my bestfriend. but from wat i hear from my boyfriend, it is totally cool between the two.

do u think that its just a "guy thing" to b so chill bout it? or is my ex jus acting laidback? or girls just overreact? or smg else??

wat do u all think?

I think it's just something that girls get worked up about. I've always thought that once the relationship is over (presuming it ends naturally, not because of any cheating with this best friend), its up to you both what you do afterwards. But most girls I know say that all friends are immediately out of bounds for good.

i think its fine, i would rather one of my mates who i know is a good person is going out with my x than some random who is a nob.

don't think i would want a friends sloppy seconds. would be weird if u thought u were doing what your best mate was for a while. dunno just me

My ex told me last week he would be quite happy if I went out with one of his good friends. I was a bit suprised. We went out for a long time & I find it a little weird him having a new gf so I think I'd find it tricky if he was going out with my best mate. Maybe cos I'm still single. I wouldn't make a big deal of it but I wouldn't like it whereas he clearly wouldn't be bothered

wel im a girl and it wud bother me bt i gues guys are differnt. if he says hes ok with it i gues he is. but make sure u dnt rub it in2 much coz he cud b hurtin nd not sayin each anything, thier weird like tht...keep feelings locked up

i don't think it should make any difference if your a girl or a guy. you should want what is best for your best mate and your ex and not be so selfish
