Hi everyone, getting towards the end of my personal statement now for economics. I have mentioned: Why I want to study the subject, knowledge of the subject, extra reading, attending lectures at LSE, being selected to go on a gifted and talented economics trip, work experience, playing guitar and football. I also do charity work for Cancer Research UK, I haven't included this, do you think I should? If I did would that and everything else I mentioned be enough? Any help would be appreciated

How's your word limit? If it's close to 4000 characters (or 47 lines), I would think about replacing the trip with charity work (depending on how meaning the trip was and how significant the charity work was). If you took lead on the charity, that a plus. If all (or almost all) you had to do to go to the trip was pay, I'd say that's a minus. Only my opinion btw.

If you still have enough space, include the charity, if it's worth it. but probably keep it short.
