I would like to take up another as level ( I dropped one last year and only have three) . My school lets us take up a new subject until half term on the 21st of October. I would like to do either further Maths or enviornmental science- but do not know which to pick. I am worried that I am too late to catch up with further Maths- can anyone give me an idea of how much harder than Maths it is? Also, is enviornmental science heavily coursework based?and is it more like biology or geography?

I know this is a lot of question. Any advice or help would be much appreciated!

Basically if you do AS Further Maths you will do 6 exams compared to 3 in normal Maths.

I am not sure about environmental science as it is not offered at my school. But I know for certain that Further Maths is very challenging and unless you are sure that you are capable with the extra work and moving at quite a fast pace then it's probably not a good idea!!

Good Luck!

Tbh, most of the stuff that we've done in fm has been pretty easy, so depending on how your school has structured it, it shouldn't be too hard to catch up.

It's a little harder than single maths, though that is probably because there is more work. In terms of difficulty, ATM it's about he same level.
