Need a little help wording an introduction to an essay about the practice statement watch

    • Thread Starter

    Hi, i'd really appreciate any help I can get with this, I've spent two weeks trying to figure out all the main points for my essay, however, i'm having a little trouble wording it, I have the mark scheme showing what I need to reference during the essay, but I'm unsure whether I should mention these in my introduction.
    The essay question is; Explain why it was necessary for the House of Lords, to issue the above statement (The Practice Statement)

    and I have to reference to;
    Relevant background of the Doctrine of Precedent,
    Prospective Overruling,
    Appropriate Citation of relevant case law applying to the 1966 practice statement.
    the role of judges in avoiding awkward precedents and
    the significance of the establishment of the Supreme Court.
