    Hi im thinking off applying to either UCL or City to study law from Ireland and wanted a bit of advice as to which would be a better uni to go to, in terms of recognition for law, social life (hugely important as i wouldnt know anybody) and accomodation etc.
    I would be looking for a typically crazy social scene and definitley intend on going out at least 3 times a week, also would prefer to have the typical university life eg. societies, sports teams, student nights etc... :beer::cig: :pizza::sleep:

    Accommodation and social life will be similar as they're both in london. As for law, UCL is one of the best in the country

    City is a neat little Uni with good links to the business world and its a fresh opportunity for people not in London to experience the city.

    Its good. But UCL is a whole different world. Some tables have UCL above oxbridge, and while I dont agree it shows the level of the Uni.

    I wouldn't read too much into the city admissions requirements. I know first hand they ask for a lot more than they want.
    I would have in London

    LSE
    UCL
    KCL
    QMUL=SOAS
    City
