    Hi http://static1.tsrfiles.co.uk/7.10/i...lies/smile.png
I'm here to recommend a book that I got when first diagnosed.
    It helps me ALOT: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Manage-Your-...utler+and+hope

It has chapters on different types of depression, sleep problems, relationships/friendships when suffering with depression, work, almost anything you can think off!!

If anyone else has any other book recommendation, I'd really appreciate that! http://static1.tsrfiles.co.uk/7.10/i...es/biggrin.png

The Depressive Illness: Curse of the strong
It gives a way of looking at depression (and possibly other conditions, I don't remember) which I found very useful. My mum read this book in fact to help her come to terms with my condition.

My wife got me a book called "The center cannot hold" about a woman's struggle with schizophrenia and her subsequent success. I found it really interesting and, as lame as this sounds, even inspiring that someone with such a severe mental illness could get so far in life. I'd highly recommend it.

I'm currently reading this book: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Shyness-Soci...xiety+workbook

It seems good so far, although I've not read much yet. It's the first 'self-help' book I've read, so hopefully (if I let it) it will help
