    The answer is in the words. Break it down:

    What is a sinusoid function? What does it look like in graphical form?
    Can you think of any examples of motion which would generate a sinusoid?

    Then think of a force. Wha actually does a force do when applied to an object? Think about how the motion changes in response to a force.

    Now put the two together and in your own words answer here:
