I am disheartened but not surprised to see that masters courses for accounting and finance require a degree that "demonstrates mathematical ability", but unfortunately I have spent the past three years basically poncing around studying French. I can do maths, and have A's at A-level in maths and further maths. Do you think I stand some chance of acceptance? Or alternatively, does anyone know of an accounting and finance course which doesn't have this requirement?

Do you care about the reputation of the University? My mate managed to get on the masters programme at Bradford university even though her degree was completely unrelated. http://www.bradford.ac.uk/management...masters/apply/I think it was Law, not too sure can confirm BUT I know she had completed a few months of work experience when she had applied. The thing about Bradford uni tho, if you can exaggerate your achievements and blag they will deffo consider you especially since you've got A's in maths. They consider work experience a lot. I know most people don't think too highly of Bradgord uni but I know quite a few people from the school of management who are working at the top 4.

You can attend some evening classes at community college and earn credits in Quant Methods ( a popular course for BSc Business or Finance). This should enhance your street cred for MSc Finance
