I'm having trouble with calculating the IRR for an investment where I have one big outflow at the start, 5 further months of smaller outflows and the final sale price of the investment in the last month . I used the XIRR formula on Excel and it came out with a result of 100%+ for IRR, is this wholly unreasonable, or perfectly possible and explained by the high selling price in the last period?
