Does anyone have any idea what this could be? It's really painful to touch and noticeable even when my tongue/mouth is in a normal position. I've had it about a week or so. Sorry for the poor image quality, it's pretty hard to take a picture of.

Could be an ulcer from biting your tongue in your sleep or similar, you could try some corsodyl mouthwash. Whatever it is, it's not supposed to be there, so get it looked at by your GP or dentist - especially if it's painful.

I thought as much, but it seems pretty hard to bite where it is considering it's under my tongue and pretty awkward to even intentionally bite. Thanks for your help.
