predicted grade problems? plz answer

basically I am predicted A*, A ,A for university in my subjects. Even though theyre good predictions, i retook my As year, so this is my 3yrd year in college.... would unis give me an offer, also because im predicted the A*, would they increase my offer to A*,A,A, for a 3A's course?? or leave it the same...

basically should i get my A* prediction changed to an A, just incase i dont get it or not... will it look bad if i dont get the A* or A in my real exam after? even thought i want the A* prediction, would it actually go against me?

thanks

No. Unis may be partially concerned you have retaken a year whether you're predicted A*AA or AAA anyways without extenuating circumstances. Leave it as it is. You're at no more of an advantage or disadvantage.

The advice I got from my school was that they don't make it harder for talented students to get onto a course (ie, they won't increase your offer). An A* prediction is always worth having, IMO.

Concerning the third year in college, it may depend on which courses you are aiming for. For medicine, it would be an issue at many (not all ) med schools, unless there were extenuating circumstances. But medicine courses are heavily over-subscribed. For many other courses, I suspect it may not be an issue.
