Possibly. All depends if this relationship will survive my studies aboard.

It seems pretty damn unlikely I will marry anyone I knew when I was 16.

It was true in my case but I think it is an exception rather than the norm.

No... It is definitely not the case for me and I don't think it's the case for most people either.

It's far more common to meet your future partner during studies or through work. Men propose after an average of 19 months and they're close to 30 when they settle down (more than that in some countries). So mid to late twenties is where it's at.

    And fortunately so.

I hope so - been together from me being 19-23 though so looking more likely.

Probably. I might have met her at 16, but only in passing if I had. I'm 22 now.

I don't speak to a single person who I knew when I was 16, other than my family. So I really hope that's not true

I don't think I speak to anybody I knew when I was 16 so no, probably not.

I'm unmarried at 26, so in my case, marrying someone I knew at 16 seems unlikely. :erm: I don't think I even speak to anyone I knew at 16 except relatives and my mother's boyfriend.

I didnt even have a boyfriend until I was 19, so it was highly unlikely. I actually met the man I married when I was 21.

Pretty much every male I knew when I was 16 was either my teacher or related to me, so highly unlikely.
