Cheer up!

Basically I'm in a ****ty mood, and have been for a few days now, I'm not a hyperchondriac and wouldn't say this is depression, but whatever it is, it's crap.

I find sometimes watching a comedy movie helps, but I've exhausted my small collection (anyone know of any decent comedies?).

So guys, what do you do when feeling blue, to lighten your mood?

And before its suggested from a 13 yr old, firing off some knuckle-children isn't what I'm looking for.
i try to keep myself busy, especially go out!

Try searching youtube for. "whoes line is it anyway" there are some VERY funny ones of those.

I hate the blues, in a little bout atm. But watch comedies and of course hang out with friends. Watch "over the hedge" and take the piss. Its great fun.

Hope you  soon
Depends. If it is depression, just keep active. If it's just feeling down, do whatever you want. I don't normally 'feel down' but I am mildly clinically depressed (albeit having refused to go to a counsellor because I didn't need patronising) so really anything helps. But going for a walk is normally fun. Go and spend a large amount of money on something you don't need. Read a book - comedy books are the same as films, just funnier, and they last longer. :p: I recommend anything by Nick Hornby, particularly "How to be Good". Non-comedy book (but still quite amusing) is "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" (ugh, capitalisation) by Mark Haddon. Blah, just do what you enjoy doing. :p: I find eating tangerines passes the time well but hey, I'm not everyone.
I find that doing some exercise really lifts my mood. It makes you feel better about yourself- especially if you maybe go for jogs outside at the moment when it is sunny, or even just a little walk listening to some great music would be good. I have some songs on my mp3 player that I listen to specifically when I am in a bad mood and they always make me feel better!
