God, there are people out there who still care? Focus on your personality, mate. Like not asking people what turns a girl on - if a girl gets to see your chest close-up you're either already in a relationship with her or desperate. The former she will like, the latter she won't.

Basically, if you're naturally hairy, then that's what I like. If you're naturally more hairless, then that's what I like. If you're hairy but shave or wax, that's what I hate. Disgusting. Gives me shivers. Don't wax. Please.

What if the hair doesn't compliment my body though? you could say im a very err vain person. I've got a 'good' body and the hair doesn't compliment it so i shave it. Now i've shaved it, its become 'thick' hair and i want to wax it to reverse it.
What do you think i should do? :frown:

I'm gay and I don't care about chest hair. I would be flattered if any boyfriend of mine was shaving or waxing his chest just to please me but I would tell him it didn't matter - in fact the worst thing he could possibly do is shave it because he wanted to show off his body. That would piss me off a lot.

Jeez man, men dont need to shave anywhere. The only mild necessity is your face but chill.

God created you that way - don't mess with it and complain that the hair growth does not complement the rest of your body.

I may get flamed for saying it but really, it's being ridiculously vain to be dwelling so much over whether guys should be shaving their hair, and even more preposterously, HOW they should be shaving it.

Beauty goes beyond being skin-deep.

ive got a hairy chest as well, i wouldnt worry about it, it says youve got lots of testosterone flying around inside your body, ur a man - so keep the hair on.

No, seriously though, I'd never expect them to get rid of it for me... that's just as stupid and unnecessary as girls 'having' to shave pubic hair, IMHO... I mean, WHY? It shows you're mature and of an age to mate...

If it's grizzly bear style then sort it out a bit, if not leave it. For me a bit of hair is a lot better than a bit of stubble from shaving.

I'd prefer it if a man had less hair naturally, but I'd rather a bloke with lots of chest hair kept it natural. Shaving or waxing would be worse than chest hair.

Hairy men are fantastic! My boyfriend is the hairyest guy I've ever met. Don't wax or shave, hairy is best. Mmmm all this talk of hairy men is making me tingly!!

I went out with a lad who shaved his chest hair. It was all stubbly when I cuddled up next to him.

I wouldn't know my boyf has neither chest nor back hair naturally (he's 22 so guess there's plenty of time for it to appear) mmm... baby soft lol. He wouldn't suit it but what happens happens *shrugs* au naturelle or not, i woulnd't dream on making those kind of demands on him.

I prefer less hairy, but it's not a strong preference. By the time you're facing a hairy chest, you're also (usually) facing a penis, and if you like the guy enough to be with him while he's naked then neither of those things matter :p:

Seriously though, chest stubble would be rather unpleasant (probably) and waxing...I wouldn't do it, and I definately don't expect guys to.
