Studying Dentistry

[INDENT]Hi,

It has taken me three attempts at GCSE to obtain high grades to get into my A-Levels. Meaning on my

1st attempt (YR10 &11 in secondary school) 1B,6Cs 3Ds

2nd attempt (Gap year (private college) 1B 5Cs 2Ds 2Es (did worse)

3rd attempt
(Gap year again) done all the revision and work independently, however I didn't retake GCSES again, instead I did 11 IGCSES and obtained 11A*s

The reason I retook my GCSEs another 2 times was because I genuinely knew I can achieve the high grades

AS Level grades acheived

Biology- A (100%)
Chemistry- A (94%)
Mathematics A (93%)
Economics (97%)

Predictions for A2

Biology- A*
Chemistry- A*
Mathematics - A*

Work Experience
- 1 Week at a local pharmacy
- 1 Week at St Marys hospital in Paddington
- 2 Weeks in India at a hospital
2 Weeks in a Dental Practice in the UK
1 Week in a Dental Practice in Spain
1 Week in a Dental Practice in India
1 Week in a Dental Practice in Italy
1 Week in a Dental Practice in France

I WANTED TO SEE HOW THE HEALTH SYSTEMS AROUND EUROPE ARE COMMON AND DIFFERENT WITH THE NHS HEALTH SYSTEM USED IN THE UK, I. E the reason for various work experience placements around europe

Voluntary
- British Red Cross (4 weeks)
- Age UK (4 weeks)
- Oxfam (4 weeks)
- Save the Children (4 weeks)

Now with all these things above, (as well as obtaining high results on the BMAT/UKCAT test)

What would be my chances of gaining a place at University for the degree of Dentistry? Please be honest

Thank You

I know I messed up really bad on my first 2 attempts at GCSE, but after that I tried my absolute hardest in obtaining 11A*s at IGCSE and having predictions of 3A*s at A-Level and I have a real passion and desire to obtain the fine knowledge of Dentistry
