Think I might bring my card out of retirement for this jacket.

Having nice clothes is worth being in debt for right?

Depends what you want them for, I don't know what you mean by cheap by Uniqlo's HeatTech undershirts are great.

Ikon are reasonably well-made and available in a range of styles: http://ikonfootwear.net/index.php?manufacturers_id=10

I second the Ikon recommendation, I got some brogues the best part of a year ago, have worn them most days for work and they've held up admirably.

This has undoubtedly been posted numerous times but basically im trying to smarten up my wardrobe .

First thing first I need to buy some shoes , literally haven't worn smart shoes out for about 2 years now ( excluding special ocassions and work) . I hear brogues and desert boots being mentioned alot and would be interested in buying some , can anyone recommend me what sort of clothing tends to go best with this ? Former to this I dress quite casually but reached the point where I feel my clothing needs to reflect me more accurately .

Where can I buy brogues or desert boots on a quite low budget (60 pounds would be ideal) , I don't want to splash out too much on my first pair because Im quite terrible with maintaing shoe quality and wouldn't want to see hundreds of pounds worth of shoe looking like crap.

Hello! For desert boots at that price, have a look at Clark's. For brogues, you're gonna struggle but try and have a look at the ASOS sale, Hudson & Kurt Geiger shoes usually go on sale for around 50£~ mark and hopefully they'll have some.

You can basically wear them with anything though, the obvious colour schemes apply. Brogue is usually in tan/brown so dark blue jeans/mustard chinos/navy chinos. Desert boots it all depends tbh, though if they're in a brown colour stick to the above. Black shoes ought to be worn with black trousers/chino/jean or grey jeans and that's it.

Smarten it up by teaming with an OCBD from Uniqlo (usually under 20£) and then when it gets cold fisherman/cable knot jumper or a smart v neck would be appropriate.

For a coat look for a pea coat, again Uniqlo is best. Smarten with a blazer.

*well I don't HAVE to, I did volunteer for this after all :mmm:

I don't think so, but maybe have it on your phone just in case.

The minute I get there I'm scopin' out the coats and leather jackets :colone:
