Biology SL or ESS?

Hello everyone, this is my first thread here :smile: I'm extremely hesitant about my IB choices. I've started a couple weeks ago and my courses are:
English Lang Lit HL
History HL
Spanish B HL

Art SL
Biology SL
Math Studies

I want to apply to an American university to a course related to media communications or public relations. I don't know whether to stick with Biology SL since its considered more rigorous than ESS and it could leave more doors open for me (even though I am not going to follow a science or math related career) or to take ESS in order to cut the workload and focus on achieving maximum grades in my higher level subjects.

Help? :eek:

Biology SL is a LOT of work, the subject is quite demanding. If you do not need it since you want to do media communications than don't take it. I'd stay with ESS.
Plus the overall workload that IB demands is not only overrated but also affects that overall point score. Taking ESS would give you more chances to get a 7 than suppose a 5/6 in Bio!
