The different sexual stages you get to over time with your boyfriend are often called bases, like in baseball. There is, however, a lot of discrepancy on whether oral goes third or AFTER intercourse, whether first base is wet kissing or touching above the waist...I'd just like to know what most people think they are. Just post it as:

What if you're talking about it in front of people that aren't old enough to hear what you're saying. Or what if it's just easier to, so you're not being vulgar. Yeah, using bases is usually seen as an immature thing, but it isn't always. I know people in their 20's that use the terminology.
I find it weird how Oral is before having intercourse.... Perhaps I'm a prude!
I think most people tend to be of the opinion that the ultimate sign of intamacy is sexual intercourse. The others are just stimulation using body parts - and sex is also but it's more - I dunno, I guess it's just more sacred of an act, or something. Then again, on a one night stand people are more usually open to having sex and nothing else. But in a relationship I believe the general trend to be kissing > manual > oral > sex. But I could have a warped view, I guess. Hmmm, I started this post sure that sex should be last, and now I'm not so sure. Personally I think having sex with someone is far more intimate and serious than oral sex, but that's just me.
