Give it a try. So long as there is chemistry it doesn't matter if he is your usual type.

does it not matter that he's older tho?? Plus there's still a lot going on between me and my ex...

Depends whats going on with you and your ex.

Age is not a problem if you get on well, aslong as you are over 16.

See how it goes whats the worst that can happen?

It is not good when you still are in limbo with an ex, whatever you decide end whatever is going on with your ex beyond friendship.

Age is not a problem unless you want it to be. Unless of course you are underage or he has grandchildren.

well me and the ex are still sleeping together (bad idea i know). in the last week we've seen eachother like, 5 times.

and yea, im 18 so age shouldn't really matter, but im worried about what others will think

Age = Fine
Sleeping with ex and liking somebody else = Not so good

You have to choose who you like more or you might loose the other guy

eek. i well dont know tho, cos i love the ex, or so i think, but i dont think anythin could ever happen with the other :frown:

How much older than you is he?

I'm 18 and I've been out with a 27 year old before. Other people did have a problem with it. But as long as I was happy, I didn't see why I had to take any notice of them. In the end, the relationship didn't work out, for a whole host of reasons- and age did come into it. Age gaps can work though, it just depends what you both want out of life.

firstly your ex is an ex for a reason, am I right? Fair enough, **** buddies every now and again if you werent getting any, but seeing each other five times a week? no no no.
I think you need this other guy, if you don't think anythings going to happen just see him anyway, company other than your ex. A rebound guy might be good. Nothing too serious.

mmm, it's all well confusin tho. cos we act all couply, so it's like we're back together, but we're not. he's 30. i kinda feel like that's a bit old. and also, not meaning to sound harsh, he doesnt have the best prospects...

Reply 11

30 is quite a big age gap, but if you get on- then give it a go.

Oh you don't sound harsh... Prospects is the main reason why I split up with my ex, he just didn't have any!
