Stafford - Night life is nonexistent,

Stoke is apparently better though.

It's not exactly 'Miles away' But to the town center it's quite far away.

Hey there! I went to an open day and asked about the nightlife around Stoke and this is what I found out
There are 2 student Union night clubs on campus that have parties most nights of the week (foam, UV and stuff included). But if you wanted to go elsewhere the best place for clubbing is Hanley which is 1.5 miles away (10 minutes by Taxi).

I don't know if they were sugar coating it, but I did see one of the nightclubs on campus (I think it was called LSV).

its about a 15-20 walk away from tesco which is bigger than asda and right next to the town centre. the asda is small and about 5 mins around the corner. it is quite a nice university to go to im a fresher myself and we had a guy get his stomach pumped his first night but it does depend on your course if you want to know what the teachers are like.

Recently graduated. On stoke campus there is the LRV night club which opens on Wednesdays for gobble and Fridays for super Friday, both decent nights. There is also verve and ember lounge bars. Ember lounge is good and popular. Hanley is a 5 min cheap taxi ride, the student night is Monday night. Hanley is no Birmingham or Manchester but there's quite a few clubs all in the same area including a walk about, Chicago, reflex, liquid etc. The Uni has had a lot of investment recently and is on the up. Shelton where the Uni is is also one if the cheapest places to rent in the uk
