How can you just suddenly stop loving someone?
Me and my bf were talking the other day and i was confused by one thing that came into our convo....how some people could just suddenly stop loving their partners. Mind you, he just finished watching Hollyoaks and thats the main plot of it so far but he said that it can happen in reality.
Is it true that some people can just suddenly stop loving? Surely there must be a reason why you don't love your partner anymore...you can't just suddenly STOP, can you?
or is it all just TV nonsense?

I think its not a sudden thingy. Its like you suddenly realise it, but it may of slowly being slipping away over a space of time. I guess people change and grow apart and i guess they fall out of love. They aint the same peole who used to love each other.

Errrrr......nobody just 'stopped' loving anybody else in Hollyoaks. If you watched the programme, you'd know that.
People do fall out of love of course, but not just all of a sudden. You don't just wake up and think, naw, don't love her anymore. It doesn't happen.

it is possible that the love fades away bt u dont want to believe that it has or don't want the other person to think it has faded away which means that when you finally admitt to it it seems sudden bt the reality is that it hasnt been

Hehe i dont watch it but my bf does although i caught it the other day and it was something like Mandy doesnt love tony anymore coz she was into his bro.
yeah maybe its just an accumulation of things and then you break out of love. Though i have read some stories before how people wake up and see their partners in a totally different perspective and realise they don't love them anymore
