which books does it have on it?

Don't worry about not having a reading list if u don't get one. I met another guy on holiday who had a stack of books to read and I had nothing. Different colleges prepare you differently. Hope they send you nothing and then you can have a long break.

Thanks for the reassurance! I'll need to work all holiday anyway, in order to help fund my way through years of being a poverty-stricken student. Darn government. Anyone feel a new thread coming on...

Well, I doubt they expect us to read all of it. And if they do, they'll be sorely disappointed in me...

Dude, are you actually going to read any of that?!

And why didnt you just scan the paper in, made it recognisable to word and then just copied and pasted...now that thats mentioned youre probably really pissed off..

That's a pretty much standard list for ppe methinks. Soon a nice ppeist will come online and tell you which ones to read. Our college JCR (Chch) had a page in the freshers guide telling us which books for each subject were worth reading. They'll only expect you to read a few, I'm surprised they haven't told you which ones. Maybe you should email your future tutor. [email protected]

I don't have a scanner, I could have taken photos of it or something but the effort probably would have been greater still. The list has actually come from my future tutor, and he's asked me to let him know what I actually plan to do with it, so I'll probably tell him that I'll be concentrating on A-level work for the moment and will start ploughing through the list in the summer. In the meantime if he can specify which ones are particularly useful it would help... and hopefully he'll pick up the hint.

There'll probably be separate tutors for each part Pol, Philo, Econ but one tutor will lead the admissions process and be the main point of contact.

That's what I meant... I'll email the guy who actually sent me the reading list. My A-levels are History, German and Maths so I can't really use any of the books as revision or anything.
