Linear Algebra

Currently a 2nd year Maths and Finance student.

Random question but how important is Linear Algebra for a Maths and Finance student in the future?

After taking a a year break from Uni due to illness/swapping course, I am not feeling it with Linear Algebra for some reason. I am pretty sure I can get enough marks to pass the module but I don't understand the course itself or would want to study it further.

Depends how basic linear algebra we're talking about. If we're talking about linear transformations, then yes, you really need to understand that. If we're talking inner product spaces and Hermitian forms, probably not (although clearly exam results will be dependent on how well you know it).
