I have two- a blue rucksack one with a monkey called Danny and a red one with monkey called Richard. I got them both from TK-Maxx for £15 each last year... they are a fortune abroad.

yep! i love kipling bags! they're kinda expensive though...but i get them at the outlet in ashford where the kipling shop is really cheap compared to the actually RRP prices!

I really don't like those kipling bags, but I can understand why people might like them, I've never seen them anywhere not expensive though.

I should consider buying one then! I was walking around TK Maxx today with my black canvas shoulder bag and it took a real strain on my shoulder and back!

What is wrong with them exactly. They are my most beloved bags...
I always look at those bags and think they are really cute but i don't think i would ever buy one, don't know exactly why! I love the little monkey's with all the different names though! So cute!
I've got a Kipling rucksack (this one: http://www.altmanluggage.com/ShopSite/kipling_2469.html)

There's an outlet near to where I live... it's still not cheap though. This one cost me about £30, but it's very hard-wearing and will probably last a long time.

i wouldnt buy one but i love the monkeys.

yeh outlets are the place to get them!! the names of the monkeys are the names of the Kipling employees. I've also seen them on the shopping channel QVC (i dont watch it lol) and i think they're reduced on there. Durable and pretty though. I have one of the monkeys that i brought at the outlet at Bicester (near Oxford) holding an ice cream. its cuuuute!!

Where is the monkey on that bag, jeff's_dead. Are they considered a bit feminine for men
The monkeys are the best thing yeah, I remember in holland a few years ago seeing them selling the monkeys by themselves in shops for about £5. Yeah... I almost bought one.

They have a mens' range called A*Pen. It has more of a masculine-looking ape than a monkey. And it comes with a really cool ape-shaped flashlight thing.

I can assure you, it is not a feminine bag. I would take a photo of myself wearing the bag and looking manly... but I've got some... err ...toast, toasting.

Hahahaha  That sounds so very cool.

All the monkeys are male yeah? Or does anybody have a girly-named monkey. I found this slightly peculiar.
