Student finance still not here

My partner Robert Gullett is still waiting for finance to come through. He still doesn't have a laptop to type up any work! Now he's at university he cannot work full time an we are at the hholy with keeping up with our bills. It's really knocked his confidence with being able to cope with our mortgage/bills and studying-a start he could really have done without. Would he have this rigmarole every semester ?

Hi there,

Once finance has been fully approved, all payments will be paid automatically and according to the payment schedule attached to the Notification of Entitlement letter.

Well they keep saying its approved but that it's taking a while, my friend's is still not here too but she is at Sheffield uni.

Hi Emily,

Once your application is approved we still require confirmation of your attendance from your university you can check with them directly that this has been sent or you can call us on 0845 300 5090 to check this with an adviser.

It can normally take from 24-48 hrs to update on the system before we can release the payments by BACs transfer.
