Climate change is a big one, we can do somethinbg about it but politicians are too caught to focus on it. It probably isn't top 5 level but Syria needs sorting out, the UN should have stepped in at the start. Putin's homophobic laws in Russia also need sorting out.

The Putin thing is quite important, and needs sorting out but there are other places in the world that are even worse

1) absolute poverty, there will always be relative poverty but people shouldn't be starving to death.
2) Power of big business and media need controlling
3) Global warming
4) Education for all
5) International universal healthcare and health education to prevent disease spread and what not

1. Climate change
2. Inequality - hunger, poverty, inequality of rights and opportunity etc.
3. War - it's sad that despite our claims that we have evolved and are all civilised, violence is still the answer for some.
4. The economic system in general. It's fragile, open to corruption, and unsustainable.
5. Othering - society is too divided, and very much subject to an attitude of "us" vs "them", with "them" somehow being the problem, whilst "we" are not like that. That leads to racism, xenophobia, sexism, classism, homophobia, and other such nastiness. Would be amazing if we could all work together, and if people were judged by their character, not by whatever group they supposedly belong to.
