Is anyone doing the EPQ this year? If so, how have you started your introduction? I have no idea what to write and my supervisor said I should be looking at at least a page to a page and a half

We haven't even started ours, have a meeting with my supervisior next week for planning!
In your introduction you basically outline what you want to do, why you decided to pick such topic, the importance for it in today's society, or explanation about a concept that will lead you on to more detailed explanation. Your introduction can be about anything, just remember that the person reading it may not know anything about your topic so don't go straight into detailed analysis.
What also I would suggest would be first taking notes and then from them write your essay.

the introduction for your epq should include :
why you picked the topic & how it relates to you
- link it to your school subjects
briefly describe the topic and what your talking about
