Firstly, you have to pay a fee and its common knowledge us students dont hav money lol
and secondly... isnt it pretty easy to meet someone anyway? just have to get out there and not stay cooped up in your room!!

i can understand the money making part, it pays loads...but jobs on campus pay well too...!

I was under the impression that proper escorts just go on dates with people for money... if you mean the ones who do sex too, then yeah thats a bit worrying that so many students do it... however id consider doing the dates or posing as someone's girlfriend etc because it pays so well!

i think there is a fair bit of 'extras' involved. My friend is involved in it. Yes inital fee and then you get paid to go out with others.

How...weird. Well, kinda. The whole 'pay a fee per date' idea is, I guess interesting, but the having just searched Warwick and Sussex for examples sake, I'm not paying some girl £50 to buy her dinner!

Ah, what if it's that she's expecting a £50 dinner? I guess that would be mildly more acceptable, but still...

That said, I wonder how many people join to actually ask people, rather than to try and get people to ask them.

Well, in the spirit of enquiry (and because it's late at night and I'm bored), I've registered and am about to create a profile.

So, let's see if anybody is willing to pay for my dinner, eh? Will report back if and when.

To be honest, I doubt it - the dynamic of this site seems to be that the girls are young and mildly good looking, but also (relatively) pricey, around 50 quid and up. The guys, on the other hand are old, mostly don't have pictures, and are cheap (10-20 quid). So I'm guessing they're the ones that do the asking.

So my plan, in the spirit of scientific enquiry for the intellectual advancement of the TSR community (and not because I'm out for a free lunch), is to attempt to make a decent profile and see if I get asked out for dinner.
Oh, and of course, I'm not about to pay anybody for the privilege of buying somebody dinner, much less a website.

So, let the experiment begin!

EDIT: It turns out the price for a date is in fact just that - what your date pays you on top of your expenses :eek:
