I am thinking of doing the human biology course (lasts 9 months) at level 2 but what does this mean will I end up with a NVQ qualification or what? Also are the OU points the same thing as UCAS points It doesn't make itself very clear. Im aiming to do a degree in physiotherapy but have 3 rubbish A levels so by how much would doing this course improve my chances?
Doing a level 2 open uni course would be like saying 'I've done a level 2 open uni course, worth 30 Open Uni credits' most (if not all) HE institutions will recognise this. Level two is loosly the same level as second year at uni (I think); some unis might let you count the credits towards your degree- It would be best to check with some of the unis to see their entrance requirements and if they accept OU qualifications in place/as well etc.
