Are they the red kind or have they gone white and silvery?
The white ones are scars and you cant really get rid of them, only minimise their appearance.

You will never get rid of them, they just become less noticeable. A short of time and moistorising theres no miracle lotions or potions to get rid of them.

Reply 3

They never really go away, just fade with time. Bio Oil (available from Boots etc.) is good at speeding up the process, but once you have them you'll always have them.

aloe-vera gel is effective - so i've heard

Reply 5

aloe vera gel is generally very good as a moisturiser, and does help heal other types of scars but wont do anything for stretch marks

Sadly, there's no getting rid. I have some on my boobs, much to my irritation. It's not even as if they're big, they just grew fast.

Reply 7

vitamin E creams apparently helps cover it

Reply 8

What about plastic surgery to cover them?

There are laser treatments but they not 100% successful and costly. Your best bet is bio oil.

Unstretch the stretch marks.

Same! I use the raw, unprocessed kind. Shea butter's supposed to be quite good as well.

aside from body butter (brazil nut flavour) from the body shop, is there anything else i can do to get rid of stretch marks?? theres loads around my biceps now and round the shoulder area - anyone got any suggestions?

If the body butter isn't working, then I suggest you stop eating it and start applying it.

"Scars can come in handy. I have one myself above my left knee that is a perfect map of the London Underground [and will come in useful with some subplotline involving Gringotts in Book 7]."

^ Lol.

I have some on my legs for rapid weight loss/gain/loss/gain from ED related stuff.

Bio oil is the best.
