Exactly. Thats the only explanation for that little episode the OP got caught up in.
Yes there is alll that, and he also slept with my best friend, tells me he still loves me every time he seems me etc. Speaking to him just isn't worth the agro, I'd rather him see me run away thant have to actually try and have a conversation with him!

My ex-gf does this to me. I think you need to get over yourself or over him (or over whatever bloody problem you have). When I walk towards my ex all I want to do is smile and acknowledge her, but she runs away about a mile a minute as if I'm about to kill her or something 
. I honestly don't understand it and find it quite rude to be honest.
Next time you see him, just ask yourself, "whats the worst that could happen?".

Id just like to have a rant here - if you were the one to break things off with her, maybe she feels awkward around you, still has feelings for you, and maybe, just maybe, it makes things worse to see you/talk to you at all.
If not I apoligise, and ignore what I just said.

Oh trust me its been nearly 2 years since i finished with my ex and i see her in town nearly every week out and about and still i get angry and walk the other way, its normal, i mean not because i am not over it all, just that all the crap she and her family did means i just do not want anything to do with her
