Will I get in with 2A*s and B?

I have taken my A-Levels already, I got A* in History and Economics, and a B in Maths, and I want to apply to Economic History, which is AAB. What do I need to put in my personal statement to get in? And will I stand a good chance of getting in if I write a good personal statement? As well, how do you balance the statement with History and Economics, as I will be applying to History at other universities, so will a predominantly History statement be good enough? Or should I balance it completely with Economics? Any help in this situation will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
