Suspiciously low entry requirements?

Hi
I finally found a course that looks perfect for me; http://www.uhi.ac.uk/en/courses/bsc-hons-audio-engineering#tab-content Audio engineering at UHI looks what I want to study at a great place
But....
One D at A level? It makes me suspicious that the course isn't any good - am I just being silly? Should I just be thankful that the entry is so low?
I have three B's at a level so I may also apply to their applied music course which has higher entry requirements
Does anyone have any experience with this course? Should this even be a concern?
Any advice would be welcome
Thanks
Danny
Highlands and Islands is effectively a 'franchised' Unis that utilises local colleges to deliver their courses.
Its designed for people living in remote areas to access education. not for mainstream students. Your 'student experience' will be zero.

Have you looked at 'Music Technology' as a subject or 'Audio Systems Engineering' or 'Sound Production'?

Sorry never responded
Thank you for the heads up. I will still apply but Lincoln Audio Production is my main choice now:biggrin:
Thanks
