FP1 Numerical Methods Help

In case you can't read f(x), it says f(x)= 3³√x - 4x + 10

In the final part, I want to know which method ideally should be used, and more importantly, WHY? I did Newton Raphson process a bit more and said

x³=3.655322312
x=3.655322298

So alpha=3.66 (2.d.p.)
Hence the only approximation to alpha correct to two decimal places in parts b and c was x²=3.66, received in part c.

What about interval bisection? Is that better to use, if so, why? But wouldn't that take more time? If I did use this, then would I use interval (3,4) or what?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH:smile::smile::smile:
