Speedo for holiday?

What should you take on holiday for swimwear, speedos or not? I am 16 so my parents are just like hahaa

I think board shorts are probably the way to go. Whatever your preferences are for swimming lengths, on a beach it is much kinder to everyone to wear something a bit less revealing.
Shorts/trunks speedo's are a definite no no .

Unless you're good-looking, no.

Either budgie smugglers or a Borat mankini. The ladies love it.
I didnt even know young people wore speedos anymore. I usually tend to associate them with dirty old men on the beach.

Why?

Well if you're a competitive swimmer it's fine of not and you're not the sporty type I'd more often than not suggest against it

I am sporty, defined chest but hairy ahah :frown:
You can get away with wearing a Speedo on a beach and no-one will bat an eyelid. Did not see anyone commenting on my brother's Speedos. Ever. So it's not like people are going to laugh at you in public.

Young people still do :sadnod: I still don't understand the stigma. Us women could parade around in skimpy string bikinis in the USA but men are obliged to wear those awful shorts! :afraid:

Don't be so sure. I've seen a guy get laughed at for wearing those (albeit not to his face). Without a doubt it's a double-standard but it's so entrenched that I'm not sure there's really that much value in challenging it at this stage.
