Well if you didnt wash it, you could in theory pick something up, however i dont think virus's live very long away from a host so would die possibly even with in hours if they are on the mug.

On the up side, i dont think any extremly serious STD's can be passed on through this type of contact, hepatitis B can but its rearly life threatening and anyway your chances of catching anything are very small, because firstly you are makeing the assumption that the guy has the STD.

Er... no expert here but pretty low unless you had a cut in your mouth, in which even then it would be near 0% likely. If no cut in mouth then almost certainly 0% likely. Most things you swallow will simply be destroyed by acid in your stomach, in addition to the probable minute element of seamen tranfered from your friend to the cup, making the whole thing extremely unlikely to cause you any harm, i wouldn't worry about it. Worry about your friend and her practice of unsafe sex with strangers.

It's still irrelevant though. I'd be extremely surprised if you could catch an STI from drinking the blood of someone who has it, let alone their semen. The only way you'd have a chance is if you had a major cut in your mouth. Believe it or not, swallowing something isn't going to make that go straight into your bloodstream. Before the acid in your stomach is done, the substance is completely destroyed.
