Cheap ice skating in London?

So, does anyone know any good, cheap places or offers to ice skate in London? I want to go with some friends but I'm far too tight to pay 10 pounds for an hour or two of skating...

Try Ally Pally (Alexandra Palace) it sounds posh but its not and its quite cheap. Usually about £4.50 http://www.alexandrapalace.com/icerink_opening.html

By the way, are there any other non-conformists (call it stingy if you want) not prepared to pay the crazy prices some places charge and expect us just to accept for any activity? I notice that my friends are more than happy to pay rip off prices for just about anything :rolleyes:

I think I have just become conditioned to accept to ridiculous London prices. When I 1st moved here from the North West, I thought it was crazy,

Yeah alley palley is your best bet, pretty easy to get there - almost any train headed to cambridge/hertford north will stop there... then a 5 minute walk up the hill

is about a fiver i think for a session of skating - all afternoon etc
