By the way, are there any other non-conformists (call it stingy if you want) not prepared to pay the crazy prices some places charge and expect us just to accept for any activity? I notice that my friends are more than happy to pay rip off prices for just about anything :rolleyes:

I think I have just become conditioned to accept to ridiculous London prices. When I 1st moved here from the North West, I thought it was crazy,

Yeah alley palley is your best bet, pretty easy to get there - almost any train headed to cambridge/hertford north will stop there... then a 5 minute walk up the hill

is about a fiver i think for a session of skating - all afternoon etc
