Unit 3 - WJEC English language CA

Hiya, I'm in year 10 and we have just done Descriptive Writing Controlled Assessment, WJEC. I got 12/20 in that CA, and I assume that's a C grade.
I know and understand that in CA, you will have to complete 3 CA in Unit 3. And you need to achieve 48 marks in order to achieve an A grade. And 52 for A*.
My aim is to achieve an A grade. 48-12= 36 marks.
I can either achieve 18 points on " OF MICE AND MEN" CA in which we started this term, and 18 points on the other task.

18/20 = A*. I need to get A* in Of Mice and Men Essay.

Right, you may be familiar with essays, but I have only started GCSEs this year, and pretty worried on how to achieve high marks on Of Mice and Men. Any suggestions? Oh by the way, what is social context?
Please give detailed suggestions which could get me an A* Grade in this CA.
I know that we need to include quotes from the text, but what's expected to achieve A*?

I really suggest getting some of the Letts revision guides for the Of mice and men text really helpful for thinking of quotes! Refer to the pattern PQA when writing answer :smile:
