offer withdrawn by imperial

hi, i have a friend who has just finished his A2 exams and is due to begin his course for sept2006 provided he attains the required grades, however he has recently been sent a letter claiming that they need proof of the grade he attained last year for the AS subject that he dropped, if he fails to show proof of this grade within the first month of term he will be kicked off the course.
My problem lies here, on my ucas i said that i dropped RE at AS but took up further maths AS and carried the rest of my subjects into A2, hoever due to the low availablity of teachers i was unable to complete the further maths AS. I have a conditional offer from imperial which does not include anything about getting "x" grade for further maths. but the offer my friend got did not depend on what he got for AS. will imperial care that i did not take further maths AS eventhough i wrote it for my ucas,
im kind of freaking out that im gonna lose my place on this matter, eventhough im fairly confident i will meet the required grades for my offer.
Help will be much appreciated,
You should notify them/notify UCAS asap. technically, you're supposed to tell UCAS about any changes to your subjects or application immediately. it probably wont make a difference but you need to notify them.

I would tell them, I had a GCSE on my UCAS form which I had to take off my form, not as serious admittedly, but it is in the UCAS conditions so if you can't take it then I think they are within their rights to withdraw their offer so it is definitely better to tell them because they will find out on results day.
