We only had sets for Maths, English, Science and Humanities (although Humanities was only up to year 9).

Maths I was always in the top for.
Science I got moved down to the middle set in year 9.
English I think I was always in the top set for.
Humanities (Geography, History, RE) I started year 8 in the bottom set, got moved up to the middle set after a few weeks, and then moved up too the top set about 3/4 of the way through the year.

I was set 1 for English, German and French. I was in set 1 for science but I had a fall out with my science teacher and he moved me down and I had to take the foundation paper even thought I got A* in all my past science exams. And I was in set 4 for maths (out of 5 sets) haha. How did I even make it?

All of them except french, where I was in set 4 for a couple of weeks because of a clerical error. Those few weeks were horrific *shudder*.

We didn't really have sets- more like a foundation, intermediate and higher (you were put in one of them) even though the intermediate people took higher as it doesn't exist anymore. I was in the top set for everything until I finished maths in year 10 (got an A) and decided to do stats instead of AS use of maths which everyone failed haha

I was and still am a member of the esteemed 'set 1 for everything apart from PE' group! I am in set 4, the lowest set for PE! We mainly just mock the teacher and hold side-line book reading protests during football!

We where in sets for every subject from years 7-9. In years 10 and 11 though we where only in sets for the compulsory subjects like english, maths, science, religion etc.
