anyone know of anywhere good to get parts for bikes, ive got my bike nearly road-legal again, but i still need (for a yamaha sr125):
-clocks
-headlight
-headlight surrounding
i think any year will fit (but mines a 1998if that matters)
i cant seem to find anyware to get these, gonna try phoning fowlers tomorrow.

ebay? breakers shop on ebay? wemoto? owners forum wanted/for sale section etc

worth a look if you havent already

nothing on ebay, or wemoto. ive emailed a website, that sends out your details and what your looking for to lots of bike breakers, nothing yet. havent tried owners forums - thanks.

fowlers do have the bits i need, but a total of £291 + vat :eek:

are the bits you need absolutely essential? if not, just repair as best as you can and get on with it. that quote is steep, how much do you reckon the bikes worth?

£200 :p:

i wont be getting it from fowlers - i ay make my own thing, with dual headlights or something

haha, cg125 headlamp bodge? see whats available on ebay and bodge accordingly

possibly, im gonna look around at whats available, could make it truely naked
the main thing i have agenst this is that the headlight was amasing on unlight roads, but then again, ive only had this one, i may not actually be that good.

wooooooo!!!...
ive found the bits i need, form my dads old sr, and have fitted them. had a couple of rusted in screws, but sorted them out good and proper :p:.
the bulb has blown, so only the parking/pilot light works, need to get a main one tomorrow.
havent ridden it yet, as its all dark now, and i dont have lighhts yet
but tomorrow i can! :woo::woo::woo::woo::woo::woo::woo:

looks a bit funny with the green front, and silver tank and mudgard...

i went through the crazy downhill/free riding stage aswell haha, then i got a bike with an engine i still love the fact that you can go really fast without pedaling

sounds like my brother! i never really did the offroad stuff at all. the past week ive been cycling to school - each morning i rember why ive now got an engine :p:

I decided to clean my bike today, well mainly i wanted to find out why my front brakes were stiff, only to find i've got another oil leak, looks like the seals gone again. Humphh.

fun times! was suprised my bike started after standing for a month in the garage. pads were glazed and discs had surface rusting. no oil leaks though

which seal is it leaking from? as you say its doing it again, i imagine you know what it is and how to fix it!

its good to be back riding, was like the new bike feeling the first time i went out after xmas/snow etc.

going to need some new tyres soon, what do people use with which bikes? im torn between a sport touring tyre (BT020) or a more sporty tyre (BT016, qualifier etc) hmmmmmmmmmm :woo:
